Passare is excited to announce a new Whiteboard feature for customers. Funeral professionals can now organize their case listing with color-coding, icons, and labels for customization and at-a-glance insights into their cases.
“Most funeral homes still have a physical whiteboard as their central hub to organize and find important case details. The problem is they have to manually update information,” said Nick Tunheim, VP of Client Services. “That’s why it was important for us to recreate a funeral home’s whiteboard as closely as possible in Passare, while including additional customization options and real-time updates.”
Within their case listing, users can set rules for color-coding entire rows or individual cells based on case type, disposition, branch, case status, and more. For example, a funeral home can display different disposition types in specific colors by setting rules, such as cremations in green and burials in blue. If a disposition type isn’t selected, they can set a rule to make that empty cell red to notify staff members to update the case.
“They can also customize how information is displayed within their case listing with labels for initials instead of full names, custom text labels, and more,” Tunheim continued. “With shorthand, users can fit even more information on their whiteboards.”
Another visual improvement Passare has introduced is truncation to maintain a consistent row height so users can view more cases at a glance without scrolling. Information will display on one line, but users can hover over the header to read the full text.
