Abilene, TX - Passare is excited to announce the launch of its new QuickBooks Online (QBO) integration, built to help funeral homes simplify their accounting needs. This integration allows Passare users to sync financial data directly to QBO, eliminating the need for time-consuming data entry and costly third-party tools.

“Previously, Passare users who had QBO had to manually export financial data into a report, check the file, and then import it into QBO using a third-party tool. This wasn’t ideal,” said Josh McQueen, VP of Marketing & Product at Passare. “With our new integration, funeral homes can skip these extra steps and see accurate financial information from Passare in QBO instantly.”

The integration also notifies users when a connection expires or a sync fails. If an error occurs, users can review and resync their data right from Passare. Funeral homes can choose between manual and automatic syncing based on how closely they want to monitor the process, and the integration can be configured on a per-branch basis, making it ideal for organizations that operate across multiple QBO companies. Additionally, Passare can automatically create customer and vendor records in QBO using case information, reducing the need for manual setup.

“Our hope is that with the ability to keep Passare and QBO in sync, funeral homes will be able to improve accuracy and efficiency around the entire accounting process,” McQueen continued. “We’re already working on other accounting integrations to expand these benefits even further. This is just one more way Passare is working to simplify the business side of funeral service.”
