How would you describe your overall experience with Passare?

 

My overall experience with Passare has been great!

 

What prompted you to switch from your previous software to Passare?

 

We used a different software company that didn't meet our needs. In my previous job, I worked heavily with accounting software, so I knew a bit about what businesses looked for and needed in software. I didn't feel like the software we used before Passare could do everything we needed.

And on top of that, our previous software was sold to another company and our annual fees changed.

That's when I started researching other funeral home software options. Passare got the best reviews, and my CPA told me that most of his clients used Passare.

 

What successes have you seen using Passare?

 

I've been able to better work with my assistant in Passare. In our previous software, there weren't any roles and permissions, so everyone on staff had access to everything, including high-level information, like our finances.

With Passare, my assistant can get the full benefits of the software and only have access to specific areas because I've created custom roles and permissions. And since Passare is cloud-based, my assistant and I can collaborate even when I'm away from the funeral home.

Another success is that Passare has saved me time on filling out forms! For example, there's a section on our Veterans Affairs form where every box has to be checked and filled out. Before Passare, each form would take between 5 and 10 minutes, which added up! Now, we save a lot of time because all we have to do is upload information to Passare once, and it populates those forms for us.

 

What's one thing you love about working with Passare?

 

I love the innovation at Passare. I'm an idea person, so I appreciate that Passare listens to my ideas and is always working to improve its product. I don't see that happening everywhere, and that's one of the reasons I'm still with Passare.

With other companies, you sign up for the software and get what you get. But with Passare, the software grows and changes alongside your funeral home. The funeral profession itself is changing, so I believe it's important that your funeral home software grows with you.

What's been your experience working with Passare support?

 

The customer service at Passare is unbeatable. Passare has the best customer support of any software I've ever dealt with—and that's the truth.

With our previous company, I wouldn't get a call back from the support team for days, which wasn't ideal. At Passare, I always get a response back quickly.  

 

Would you recommend Passare to a colleague?

 

I would absolutely recommend Passare. It is truly a great system, and I love that Passare is constantly improving the software. This constant improvement is what makes the software fit our profession so well.
